Favourite book

As an avid reader, it is extremely difficult for me to name my favourite book. However, the one book that grew on me recently was Option B by Sheryl Sandberg. It helped me become more resilient and get through adverse times. Sandberg’s first book, Lean In, was also a much-needed escape and helped me during the pandemic.

Favourite movie

I am more of a soap opera person than a movie person. Currently, I am binge watching How to Get Away with Murder. I find Viola Davis’ character intriguing and feel it defines strength in its true meaning. If I had to pick a movie, I’d have to say Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. I can never get bored of it as romance, pure passion, and well-timed humour are all hallmarks of the film.

Favourite destination

I haven’t been to many countries but one of the countries that I’d like to explore would be Italy. I think it’s one of the most beautiful countries I have seen, at least in pictures.

Favourite food

Honestly, nothing beats dal chawal, bhindi and roti. For me, it’s the perfect definition of soul food. Being a foodie as well as a fitness fanatic is really difficult as I am always in a constant conflict with food.
