Vibrant Energy announced its plans to establish a 198-megawatt (MW) wind farm project for the prominent e-commerce company Amazon in Maharashtra.

Vibrant stated that a power purchase agreement (PPA) has been formally agreed upon with Amazon, marking the third such agreement between the two companies.

The project will be located in Osmanabad, Maharashtra, and is anticipated to generate 6,97,261 MWh of energy annually while contributing to a yearly reduction of 4,94,137 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions. The project is on schedule for commissioning in early 2025, according to Vibrant.
