The second most valued company in the world is making a major push into robotics, unveiling new tools to help companies simulate and deploy robot workforces. “The Chat-GPT moment for general robotics is just around the corner,” Huang said during his keynote.

Two primary systems at the center of this push are the ‘Mega’ new Omniverse Blueprint for Building Industrial Robot Fleet Digital Twins and Isaac GR00T Blueprint for Humanoid Robotics Development.

‘Mega’ Omniverse Blueprint

The ‘Mega’ Omniverse Blueprint lets companies develop, test, and optimise physical AI and robot fleets at scale in a digital twin before deploying them in real warehouses and factories.

Mega offers reference architecture of NVIDIA to enterprises providing accelerated computing through NVIDIA Isaac and NVIDIA Omniverse technologies.

It allows companies to develop and test digital twins for testing AI-powered robot brains that drive robots, video analytics AI agents, equipment and more. These Nvidia powered robot fleets are capable of handling enormous complexity and scale. The new framework brings software-defined capabilities to physical facilities, enabling continuous development, testing, optimization and deployment.

Isaac GR00T Blueprint

Isaac GR00T Blueprint is an array of fundamental robot models, data funnels and simulation frameworks to accelerate next-generation humanoid robot development efforts. It helps developers generate exponentially large synthetic motion data to train their humanoids using replication learning.

This blueprint can be used to teach humanoid robots how to move and interact with their environment effectively and safely in NVIDIA Isaac Lab, an open-source and modular framework for robot learning.

What is CES?

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is an annual trade show organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). Held in January at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Winchester, United States, the event hosts speeches and presentations on latest products and advancements in the consumer technology industry.

It showcases companies including manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery systems and more. It also includes a conference program where the world's business leaders and pioneering thinkers address the industry's most relevant issues.
