A young executive hurriedly swallows the last of his breakfast at a red light, a helmeted biker manoeuvres through a sea of black umbrellas and children run after a motorcycle in distant Ladakh. Yet another slice of life ad from Hero or Bajaj? Surprisingly, no. This is the latest commercial from Honda and if it’s uncannily similar to the “bikes for real India” communication that its competitors have made their own for the past so many years, it’s with good reason.
