A 2023 Moneycontrol report says that EY hired over 18,000 people in the past year and now has more than 38,000 employees across all its member firms in India.

The advisory follows Pakistan’s attempted drone and missile strikes on Indian military sites, including in Jammu and Pathankot, late Thursday. In response, several states implemented emergency measures—shutting schools, enforcing blackouts in border areas, and cancelling leave for police and administrative staff.

Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Gujarat, West Bengal and Bihar are among the states that responded with heightened security after Indian air defences intercepted at least eight missiles and several drones launched from Pakistan targeting regions in Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan.
