One of the best books I have ever read is The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. It explains the trajectory of life very well by showing the success, failure and eventual success of an architect. It has had quite on impact on me as a reader.

I love Steve McQueen’s The Great Escape quite a lot. I have always been fond of motorcycles and this film remains important to me for that.

Food is a great way to understand culture. I prefer Indian and Thai food, especially Tandoori chicken and Thai curry.

Within India, I love visiting Goa over and over. It has great food and the sun, sand and sea. Outside India, I enjoy visiting Switzerland. I am a Kashmiri by birth and the scenery there is reminiscent of Kashmir, which I love.

Like any other Indian, I love cricket. I have played the game at college level as well and I enjoy watching the game when I can, especially when India is playing.
