The Trusted Advisor by David Maister is one of the best books I’ve read. The experiences, anecdotes and examples resonate with our professional lives. The guidelines set out in the book for advisors and consultants never fail to inspire me. I keep going back to the book for guidance and perspective.

While I am not biased towards specific genres, I enjoy movies by Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino. Life is Beautiful and Jerry Maguire are the other two movies I love. Everytime I watch the first one, it evokes so many emotions — of sadness and happiness. Its narrative goes beyond the Nazi and Holocaust narrative to focus on the human spirit.

I am extremely fond of tennis and cricket. Despite my busy schedule, I steal a few moments to stay updated about all the games and tournaments. Novak Djokovic is an admirable player.

I find it very difficult to resist seafood, especially Goan curry. My daughter and I enjoy exploring new seafood joints in the city and some of my favourites include O Pedro, Mahesh Lunch Home and Yauatcha.

London is undoubtedly my favourite city for its diverse architecture and people. As a child, I was always intrigued by the city when I read Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Charles Dickens’ books. I would imagine that some day I would experience adventures in the wonderful city. That happened once I started travelling for work and I continue to love all the facets of the city.
