I’m a voracious reader. People find it weird that I read atleast three to four books at a time, but I thoroughly enjoy it. I just put down Alibaba: The House That Jack Ma Built by Duncan Clark, China's Disruptors by Edward Tse and The Everything Store by Brad Stone.

My all-time favourite movie is Edward Zwick’s The Last Samurai starring Ken Watanabe and Tom Cruise. It shows honour, pride, gut and glory in a way that I’ve rarely seen in cinema. I watch it once every six months, so I’ve probably watched it 20 times by now.

I’m strictly a red wine and single malt drinker. Côtes du Rhône, Malbec and Bordeaux form a majority of my wine consumption. As a malt drinker, I’m usually a Speyside malt and Japanese malt person! So Balvenie, Nikka, Yamazaki, Hakushu and Hibiki are the top malts you will find at my bar on most days.

I was an avid footballer in school, but later that pursuit was replaced by music. I have been part of 'Brahma', one of India’s most popular metal bands, as a lead singer. Performing at over 1,000 gigs in my career as a metal-head, made me sweat more than any sport. Now, walking for about 8 km, five days a week, has become my fitness mantra.

Every year, my family plans one annual holiday and Europe is our favorite destination! However, my personal favourite remains Phuket and the Koh Samui island, Thailand — we end up spending most of our long weekends there.
