Favourite Movie

The Shawshank Redemption is my all-time favourite movie. It is a tale of justice, hope, friendship and humanity that transcends genre and age while bridging the divide between the mainstream and hardcore film buffs. It teaches us the meaning of finding and defining our purpose and to accept ourselves.

Favourite Book

Shoe Dog: A Memoir. This autobiography of Nike creator Phil Knight is one of the most remarkable books I have ever read. With lessons to pick up from at every point, it was absolutely motivating and inspiring to understand Phil, his journey in creating Nike and the hardships involved. This one quote by him really stuck with me: “I wanted to build something that was my own, something I could point to and say: I made that. It was the only way I saw to make life meaningful.”

Favourite Sport

While I have always been into sports, I picked up golf amid Covid-19 and have been hooked to it since then. It not only keeps you fit and engaged, but also challenges both the body and mind and allows you to look inward and work towards improvement. I have also started learning tennis and absolutely love it! It is great for maintaining health, strength, fitness and agility.

Favourite Cuisine

Nothing compares to the joy of eating Indian cuisine! It comprises a unique blend of spices which makes it delicious. No matter where in the world I am, I try to find Indian food.

Favourite Travel Destination

Without a second thought, Goa! A laid-back lifestyle, chill vibe, glorious scenic beaches, natural tranquillity, beach sports and amazing parties. It is a great year-round destination. I end up going to Goa once every year.
