I always try to learn more about markets, investing philosophies and investor psychology. The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham remains one of the most insightful books on value investing and portfolio management. I am also passionate about yoga, and have found a great connect between yogic principles and investor psychology.

I am a complete Bollywood buff and love watching classics in comedy and drama. Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Golmaal, for instance, is one of my favourite films, for its hilarious story line and brilliant performances. Inspirational and sports dramas are also good and my picks in this genre would beChak De! India and Dangal. They celebrate the victory of perseverance.

While I follow cricket passionately, I am particularly fond of playing badminton. It is the best cardiovascular exercise and a great stress-buster. I also encourage my team at work to take up this sport by arranging an organisation-wide badminton tournament every year.

Coconut water for its several health benefits. I find it particularly invigorating after a strenuous yoga session, to replenish the body with electrolytes. It is also a more soothing and healthier alternative to tea and coffee between meetings.

Goa is where I would go to for a relaxing holiday with my family and friends. No one can deny the charm of its sandy beaches and the local delicacies, right from seafood to desserts. In contrast to the relaxed beaches of Goa, I like the bustling New York City for its skyscrapers and lively environment. A seat of art and culture, NYC has some of the best museums and galleries in the world.
