Realme has confirmed the Realme 16 Pro will launch in India on January 6, 2026. Positioned below the Pro+ model, the phone aims to offer flagship-grade features at a comparatively lower price point.
The Realme 16 Pro uses the same 200MP LumaColor camera system as the Pro+ variant. It is built on Samsung’s HP5 sensor and brings optical stabilisation and enhanced zoom capabilities.
Realme says the camera supports 1x, 2x and 4x lossless zoom with full-pixel auto zoom. TÜV Rheinland certification ensures colour accuracy, while HyperRAW processing improves lighting balance in challenging scenes.
The phone inherits a five focal length portrait system offering 1x to 4x options. These modes are designed for full-body, half-body and close-up portraits with improved depth and background separation.
A new Vibe Master Mode introduces 21 portrait tones for different lighting conditions. AI Edit Genie allows users to adjust elements like backgrounds and hairstyles while keeping facial details consistent.
For video recording, the Realme 16 Pro supports 4K HDR at 1x and 2x zoom. Features like MainTrack subject tracking and AI Instant Clip simplify content creation for travel and events.
The smartphone packs a 7000mAh Titan Battery with Super Power Saving Mode and bypass charging. A 1.5K AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate offers brightness levels reaching up to 6500 nits.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G processor, paired with an AirFlow VC cooling system. It runs Realme UI 7.0, featuring the Flux Engine and NEXT AI tools.
Designed in collaboration with Naoto Fukasawa, the phone comes in Master Gold, Pebble Grey and Orchid Purple. It features a textured finish and carries an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
