Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles will launch the all-electric Tata Sierra EV today on June 30. The model expands the brand’s EV portfolio in India and strengthens its position in the growing electric SUV market with a more premium offering.

According to multiple reports, the Tata Sierra EV is expected to be priced between ₹17 lakh and ₹25 lakh ex-showroom. The SUV aims at India’s price-sensitive market while positioning itself as a premium electric vehicle in its segment.

Exterior Design Update

Early teasers indicate the Sierra EV may deliver more than 500 km on a full charge. At 80% battery, the display shows 424 km remaining along with live energy data, regenerative braking details and driving mode information.

DC Fast Charging

The EV is confirmed to support 120 kW DC fast charging. It is expected to gain over 200 km of driving range in roughly 15 minutes under ideal conditions, while complete charging specifications will be announced at launch.

The Sierra EV will offer six selectable terrain settings including Normal, Snow, Gravel, Sand, Rock Crawl and Custom. These modes help adjust grip, stability and power delivery depending on road or off-road surface conditions.
