US automaker Tesla has launched the Model Y L in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹61,99,000, introducing a longer SUV variant as the company continues to expand its presence in the Indian market.
The Model Y L sits between Tesla’s premium model and its more affordable option, aiming to strike a balance between features and pricing while targeting buyers looking for a mid-range premium electric SUV.
The Tesla Model Y L measures 4,969 mm in length, 1,982 mm in width and 1,668 mm in height, with its longer wheelbase helping create more cabin space and improving overall passenger comfort.
The SUV supports fast charging via Tesla Supercharger network, offering up to 250 kW peak capacity under ideal conditions, helping reduce charging time for both long-distance travel and daily driving needs..
Each seat in the Model Y L is designed to improve headroom and legroom while boosting overall comfort. Second-row captain seats come with powered armrests, one-touch folding, ventilation and heating for a more premium in-cabin experience.
The third row in the Model Y L offers power recline, one-touch folding and ventilated climate control. These features ensure passengers in the rear get added comfort and flexibility, especially during long journeys or extended travel.
The Model Y L features eight exterior cameras and second-generation hardware. It also includes safety systems like automatic emergency braking, forward collision alerts, blind-spot monitoring and lane departure prevention along with multiple exterior colour options.
