Srikanth Bolla is the CEO, co-founder and chairman of Bollant Industries Private Limited. He is a visually impaired entrepreneur and philanthropist. A Bollywood biopic about him starring actor Rajkummar Rao was released last year.

In 2012, Srikanth Bolla co-founded Bollant Industries. The company produces areca-based products and provides employment to hundreds of individuals with disabilities. Bollant Industries has grown steadily at a rate of 20% per month achieving a compound annual growth rate of 107% between 2015 & 2019.

Struggled for Education

For studying Science after 10th grade, he had to fought legal battle with the state government. Despite scoring 98% in Class 12, IITs denied his admission as a visually impaired student. He applied in top international universities and choose to study in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) becoming its first international blind student.

A Youth Leader

After graduating from MIT in 2005, Bolla became a Youth Leader in the Lead India Program to tackle poverty and unemployment. He trained over 8 lakhs young individuals in leadership, human values and employability skills.
