Its valuation has fallen to approximately $2 billion, a significant drop from its $7.3 billion peak in late 2021.
Ola Electric Mobility, founded in 2017, specializing in electric vehicle manufacturing, particularly electric two-wheelers. By August 2024, its valuation surged to nearly $7 billion following the launch of new e-motorcycles and plans for in-house battery production.
Krutrim is an AI startup focused on large language models, AI cloud services, mapping technology, and Indic language translation. In 2024, it became India’s first AI unicorn with a $1 billion valuation. In February 2025, Bhavish Aggarwal committed Rs 2,000 crore to Krutrim, with plans to invest an additional Rs 10,000 crore the following year.
Ola Consumer includes ola cabs along with financial services and cloud kitchens.
According to the Bloomberg he has a net worth of $2.6 billion, he is among the world's youngest self-made billionaires. In 2018, Time magazine recognized him as one of the 100 Most Influential People.
His dedication to advancing India's electric vehicle market has drawn comparisons to Tesla founder Elon Musk. At a media event, he stated, "Tesla caters to the West, while Ola is for the rest." He emphasized that companies like Tesla design products for the wealthiest billion people.
