Shark Tank India is set to make a comeback with Season 5, continuing its popular business reality format. The new season will see seasoned investors joined by fresh faces and new investors.
Season 5 will see the return of Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, Ritesh Agarwal, Kunal Bahl, Viraj Bahl and Amit Jain. Together, they represent some of India’s most influential founders and investors.
Shark Tank India Season 5 premieres on January 5, 2026. The show will air on Sony Entertainment Television and stream on SonyLIV nationwide, following multiple screening rounds that shortlist startups before televised pitches reach viewers.
Anupam Mittal of Shaadi.com has an estimated net worth of ₹185 crore, as per MoneyMint. Aman Gupta of boAt is valued around ₹720 crore, Vineeta Singh of SUGAR Cosmetics holds roughly ₹300 crore, while Namita Thapar of Emcure Pharmaceuticals stands near ₹640 crore.
Amit Jain, co-founder of CarDekho and InsuranceDekho, continues as a Shark. With an estimated net worth of ₹2,900 crore, he remains the second-richest investor on the panel heading into Season 5.
Peyush Bansal of Lenskart is valued at ₹610 crore. Ritesh Agarwal of OYO leads the panel with approximately ₹16,000 crore. Kunal Bahl of Snapdeal holds around ₹900 crore, while Viraj Bahl of Veeba is valued between ₹200–300 crore.
Season 5 introduces new Sharks, including Varun Alagh of Honasa Consumer, valued near ₹5,900 crore, Mohit Yadav of Minimalist, Shaily Mehrotra of Fixderma India, Rayzon Solar founder Hardik Kothiya, JetSetGo’s Kanika Tekriwal and Masters’ Union founder Pratham Mittal.
Hardik Kothiya has an estimated net worth of ₹3,970 crore. Kanika Tekriwal stands near ₹420 crore. Fixderma India’s valuation is about ₹187 crore. Minimalist’s ₹2,955 crore acquisition reflects significant founder gains, while some new Sharks’ personal wealth remains undisclosed.
The new season will once again highlight Indian startups competing for investment, mentorship and business guidance. With a mix of veteran Sharks and new investors, Season 5 promises diverse perspectives, sharper deal-making and high-stakes entrepreneurial pitches.
