At xAI, Aman will work on developing AI coding tools designed to handle complex programming tasks. These systems aim to help developers generate code automatically and speed up application development across different software platforms.
Gottumukkala became widely known after launching Firebender, an artificial intelligence coding assistant created for Android developers. The platform allows programmers to generate code, automate development tasks and organise software projects more efficiently
Firebender connects seamlessly with popular development environments like Android Studio and JetBrains IDEs. This integration allows developers to organise coding tasks, manage workflows efficiently, and receive AI-powered code suggestions directly within the tools they use daily.
Before founding Firebender, Aman worked as a software engineer at Paradigm, contributing to technology and crypto-related projects. He is also a KP Fellow, a programme connecting engineers and startup founders with mentors and venture capital firms in Silicon Valley.
Aman Gottumukkala earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University between 2017 and 2021. Earlier, he attended the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, a specialised programme providing advanced STEM education for talented students.
