UAE Visa Update

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has launched a new Golden Visa that no longer requires investment in property or business. Applicants can secure long-term residency by paying a one-time fee of 100,000 Arab Emirati Dirhams (AED), around ₹23.3 lakh.

Who Can Apply?

The new Golden Visa covers a broader range of professionals - from scientists, teachers and nurses to YouTubers, e-sports players and yacht owners. It now supports talent across business, education, digital media and maritime industries.

Golden Chance for Indians

Rayad Kamal Ayub, Managing Director of the UAE-based Rayad Group, called it. “This is a golden opportunity for Indians to get the UAE’s Golden Visa.”

Applicants are evaluated for their potential in fields like business, culture, science, or trade. “After that, Rayad Group will send the application to the UAE government for final approval,” Rayad Kamal said. This visa remains valid for life.

Over 5,000 Indian applicants are expected to apply within the first three months of launch.

Key Benefits

The Golden Visa offers permanent UAE residency, with freedom to work, start a business, sponsor family or hire staff. No property ownership is required. “This visa allows complete freedom to live and work in the UAE,” Rayad Kamal told PTI.

UAE Visa History

The UAE introduced the Golden Visa in 2019 for investors and skilled professionals. In 2022, it eased entry by lowering the property investment threshold to AED 2 million, making long-term residency more widely accessible.
