On March 20, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma's divorce was officially confirmed following the Bombay High court's directive to the family court to rule on divorce petition.
Yuzvendar Chahal has agreed to pay Rs 4.75 crore as permanent alimony to Dhanshree Verma during the legal proceedings. He has already paid Rs 2.37 crore. The family court viewed the remaining unpaid sum as non-compliance, according to Bar and Bench report.
Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma tied the knot on December 22, 2020, in a private wedding ceremony held in Gurugram.
On February 5, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma filled a mutual divorce petition in the family court. However, on February 20 the court declined to waive the 6-month colling-off period.
As per GQ India report, Yuzvendra Chahal's net worth is estimated at around Rs 45 crore in 2024. In the 2025 IPL auction Punjab Kings signed him for 18 crore.
As of March 2025, Dhanashree Verma's net worth is estimated to be around Rs 24 crore, according to a report of The Times of India, primarily earned through her career as a choreographer, YouTuber and social media influencer.
