Banks across India will remain closed on 13 days in July 2025, including weekends, public holidays, and regional festivals, as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) schedule.
Banks in Tripura will remain closed on July 3 for Kharchi Puja, a key religious event observed in Agartala every year.
On July 5, banks in Jammu and kashmir will shut in observance of Guru Hargobind Ji’s birth anniversary.
Banks across India will remain closed on Sunday, July 6 and Saturday, July 12, in line with regular weekly holidays.
In Shillong banks will be closed on July 14 for Beh Deinkhlam, a traditional festival of the Jaintia tribe in Meghalaya.
Banks in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun region will observe a holiday on July 16 to mark the Harela harvest festival.
Banks in Shillong will be closed on July 17 for U Tirot Singh’s death anniversary. In Agartala, banks will remain shut on July 19 for the local festival Ker Puja.
Banks will be closed nationwide on July 20 (Sunday), July 26 (Fourth Saturday), and July 27 (Sunday). In Sikkim, banks will also remain shut on July 28 for Drukpa Tshe‑zi.
While bank branches will remain closed on these dates, customers can still use digital services like UPI, net-banking, mobile apps and ATMs without any disruption.
