On Wednesday, Arvind Fashions appointed Amisha Jain as its new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 13 August, as part of its planned leadership succession. She joins after her stint with Levi’s.

Amisha Replaces Shailesh

Amisha Jain will re-join the homegrown fashion retailer after her stint at Levi’s. She will succeed Shailesh Chaturvedi, who has held the role since 1 February 2021. A long-time executive at Arvind Fashions, Chaturvedi will work closely with Jain to ensure a smooth leadership transition.

Jain has over 25 years of experience across tech, consumer, and retail sectors. Most recently, she was Managing Director and Senior Vice President at Levi Strauss & Co, the iconic American denim brand, where she led operations across South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe.

Amisha Jain’s Career Highlights

Before joining Levi’s, Jain successfully led the transformation of Zivame as its Chief Executive Officer, strengthening its position in the intimate wear market. Her career also includes leadership roles at the Arvind Group, Nike India, McKinsey & Company and Motorola.

Jain holds an MBA from INSEAD, one of the world’s top business schools. She also has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from MS University.

FY25 Growth Highlights

Arvind Fashions reported ₹4,620 crore in revenue for FY25, marking an 8.5% year-on-year rise. Net profit surged 71% to ₹85 crore. Its brands are sold through 931 exclusive stores and 9,000 multi-brand outlets across 450+ cities and towns.
