The average housing price in Delhi NCR is Rs 11,993 per sq ft. Housing prices surged by 31% YoY, the highest increase among major Indian cities, according a housing price-tracker CREDAI-Colliers-Laises Foras report. Dwarka Expressway witnessed the highest annual price rise at 58% followed by Greater Noida's 52%.
The average housing price in Ahmedabad is Rs 7,725 per square ft, reflecting a 15% YOY increase driven by higher demand for affordable and mid-segment housing. The Southwest Suburb saw the biggest annual price rise at 20%, followed by Gandhinagar Suburb at 16%.
The average housing price in Bengaluru is Rs 12,238 per sq ft, with a recorded annual price rise of 23% during Q4 2024.
In Chennai, the average housing price is Rs 8,141 per sq ft. Overall housing prices in the city surged by 6% YoY. Central Chennai experienced the highest annual price increase at 11%, followed by Coastal Chengalpattu, which saw an 8% YoY rise.
The average housing price in Hyderabad is Rs 11,351 per square ft, with a yearly increase of 2%. In Southwest Hyderabad, ready properties saw a notable 13% rise, fueled by upcoming metro expansion plans toward Kokapet and Shamshabad.
The average housing price in Kolkata is Rs 7,971 per square ft, with a slight annual increase of 1%. The strongest demand is in Southwest Kolkata and Howrah, which experienced 20% YoY growth in residential capital values.
The average housing price in Mumbai is Rs 20,725 per sq ft, with an overall annual increase of 3%. Panvel saw the highest rise at 11%, while both Thane and the Island city recorded a 6% increase.
In Pune, the average housing price is Rs 9,982 per sq ft. Housing prices in the city have surged by 9% annually. The unsold inventory has decreased by 14% YoY, marking the highest annual decline among major Indian cities.
