E-commerce giant Amazon has confirmed that its Great Indian Summer Sale will begin at exactly 12:00 AM on May 8. The company has not clarified whether Prime members will receive early access, which is typically offered during major sale events.
Amazon has partnered with HDFC Bank to provide an instant 10% discount on credit card and EMI transactions during the sale. The company has not yet disclosed the maximum cap applicable on this discount.
Prime subscribers will receive a flat ₹250 cashback on purchases worth ₹2,500. In addition, the company is offering an extra 3% discount on orders exceeding ₹2 lakh during the sale period.
Customers using the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card will continue to receive an unlimited 5% cashback on purchases. Amazon is also providing no-cost EMI options on select credit and debit cards across categories.
Amazon has announced broad category discounts with up to 40% off on smartphones and accessories, along with exchange offers of up to ₹66,000. Home appliances will also see up to 65% price cuts, with exchange benefits going up to ₹20,000
The sale will feature up to 70% off on AI-powered devices, up to 45% off on Amazon devices like Echo and Fire TV Stick, and 50% to 80% discounts on fashion and beauty products.
Meanwhile, the company will offer up to 60% discounts on daily essentials. Its Bazaar section will showcase budget-friendly fashion and home products priced under ₹299, targeting shoppers looking for ultra-affordable deals across categories.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G will start at ₹94,999 including bank and coupon offers. iQOO 15R will be priced at ₹42,999 and OnePlus Nord 6 at ₹36,999, with iQOO Z11x 5G available at ₹20,999.
For gaming, the Asus TUF laptop with RTX 3050 GPU will be priced at ₹69,990 including bank offers. A Samsung 55-inch QLED TV will drop to ₹40,240, while audio deals include Nord Buds 4 Pro at ₹3,799 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro at ₹19,499.
