iPhone maker Apple has confirmed that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026 will take place from June 8 to June 12, with most sessions online and a limited in-person gathering at Apple Park on June 8.
WWDC 2026 is scheduled for five days beginning June 8. The conference will kick off with Apple’s keynote and Platforms State of the Union, followed by over 100 sessions, interactive labs and one-on-one developer meetings.
WWDC 2026 will be available worldwide through the Apple Developer app, Apple’s official website and YouTube, with sessions in China also streaming on Apple’s bilibili channel.
Alongside its online sessions, Apple will host a special in-person gathering at Apple Park on June 8. Attendance is limited, requiring developers and students to apply through the Apple Developer website.
The conference will showcase software updates across Apple’s platforms, featuring new artificial intelligence tools, enhanced developer tools, frameworks and technologies that developers can integrate into their apps.
Developers will have the opportunity to engage directly with Apple engineers and designers through group labs and one-on-one sessions, helping them grasp new announcements and implement features effectively in their apps.
On the other hand, Apple’s Swift Student Challenge will also continue as part of WWDC. Selected students will be notified on March 26 and may attend the in-person event at Apple Park.
Meanwhile, Fifty top Swift Student Challenge winners will be invited to Cupertino for a three-day immersive experience, designed to help students and early-stage developers enhance their skills and expand their professional network.
