Ratan Tata Will: Who Will Gets His Wealth?

Ratan Tata has left a vast amount of his estimated Rs 3,900 crore wealth to his two trusts Ratan Tata Endowment Trust (RTET) and the Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation (RTEF). He has also left a sum of Rs 12 lakh for his pets. He had several dogs among them a German Shepherd named Tito.

Shantanu Naidu, who worked as the executive assistant to Ratan Tata, has been granted a waiver on his education loan. An Indian entrepreneur Naidu is currently working as a general manager at Tata Motors.

In a generous gesture, Ratan Tata’s neighbour, Jake Malite, will receive an interest-free education loan from his will.

Jimmy Tata, Ratan Tata's half-brother, will inherit Ratan Tata's part of their family property in Juhu, Mumbai, which is worth around Rs 16 crore. This property originally belonged to their father, Naval Tata, and was passed on to Ratan Tata.

Shireen Jejeebhoy and Deanna Jejeebhoy, Ratan Tata’s half-sisters, are set to inherit an equal share of his wealth, which is estimated to be around Rs 800 crore each. This includes assets such as watches and financial instruments like bank FDs.
