With the earnings season now in its third week, nearly 47 companies are set to report their results for the March quarter on April 27, 2026, drawing strong investor attention towards key announcements through the day.
The list of companies announcing results today includes UltraTech Cement, Coal India, Varun Beverages, AU Small Finance Bank, Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India, Adani Total Gas, SBI Cards and Payment Services, Phoenix Mills and Nippon Life India Asset Management.
Other companies scheduled to report earnings include Supreme Industries, Piramal Finance, City Union Bank, Punjab and Sind Bank, Jindal Saw, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank, Kirloskar Pneumatic Company, and Bajaj Housing Finance.
Motilal Oswal, a brokerage firm, expects Coal India to report quarter-on-quarter EBITDA improvement, supported by better operating leverage along with higher coal production and offtake during the March quarter, Mint reported.
Meanwhile, Kotak Institutional Equities, said weak dispatches of 198 million tonnes, down 2% year-on-year, may impact Coal India’s earnings. It added that blended realisations rose 1% to ₹1,707 per tonne, while e-auction realisations fell 2% to ₹2,573 per tonne but improved quarter-on-quarter.
On the other hand, Motilal Oswal, expects UltraTech Cement to report 11% year-on-year growth in sales volume, with EBITDA estimated at ₹1,148 per tonne, along with a modest increase in blended realisations during the March quarter.
The brokerage firm added that ready mix concrete revenue may rise 10% while white cement revenue could fall 9%, as variable costs increase around 3% and operating expenses rise 2% during the quarter.
Ponmudi R, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Enrich Money, said the Q4 earnings season could act as a strong trigger for stock-specific action as investors assess earnings visibility, valuations and management guidance.
The performance of heavyweight companies and key sectors will remain crucial in shaping the broader market direction as investors continue to reassess expectations based on incoming results, Ponmudi added.
