JioHotstar will update its subscription plans for new users starting January 28, 2026, raising the Premium annual plan to ₹2,199 from ₹1,499 and introducing monthly options across all tiers.
The Mobile plan costs ₹79 monthly, ₹149 quarterly and ₹499 annually. Access is limited to one mobile device, with ads included, offering a budget-friendly option for casual viewers.
The Super plan costs ₹149 monthly, ₹349 for three months and ₹1,099 yearly. It allows streaming on up to two devices with ads and includes Hollywood content by default.
The Premium plan is priced at ₹299 per month, ₹699 quarterly and ₹2,199 annually. It offers streaming on four devices, ad-free viewing and full Hollywood content, except during live sports and shows.
Sushant Sreeram, Head of SVOD Business and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at JioStar, said the new plans give users more flexibility to match changing viewing habits and large-screen TV usage.
Super and Premium tiers now also come with Hollywood content by default for new users. Mobile-tier subscribers can add Hollywood titles optionally, letting them customise their subscriptions based on preferences.
Current users will keep their subscriptions and prices, the company said, if auto-renewal is active. The new pricing applies only to new users from January 28, ensuring no disruption for existing subscribers.
JioHotstar serves over 450 million monthly active users and has surpassed one billion downloads. The update supports expanded living-room viewing and long-term investment in content and technology.
