Iphone maker, Apple will host its annual fall event on September 9 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. The company is expected to launch new iPhones, Apple Watches, iPad updates, apart from showcasing artificial intelligence integration across its product lines.
According to multiple reports, Apple may unveil a slimmer iPhone model, possibly named iPhone Air, aligning with the iPad Air and MacBook Air design.
According to Bloomberg, Apple is also likely to reveal updated entry-level and premium Apple Watch models, enhanced iPad Pros, and a quicker, improved version of its Vision Pro headset.
The company is also planning to invest $600 billion in the U.S. over the next four years, creating jobs and moving some operations onshore. This move responds to tariff pressures and aims to strengthen Apple’s manufacturing footprint while avoiding potential import duties.
Apple previously announced updates to its operating system, introducing a "liquid glass" design, redesigned icons, and improved menus. The September event may further highlight AI features and software improvements to enhance usability and device performance.
Apple’s slower adoption of AI has left it behind leading tech companies. Competitors like Samsung, Honor, and Huawei have capitalised on this gap, attracting customers with their AI-powered products.
Meanwhile, Apple will launch its fourth store in India next week, this time in Pune’s Koregaon Park. The outlet will give customers hands-on access to Apple products and services, marking a significant step in strengthening the company’s retail footprint in the country. The store is set to open on September 4 at 1 pm.
