Apple has confirmed its annual September hardware showcase, called the “Awe Dropping Event,” for 9 September at 10 AM Pacific Time. The focus is expected on the iPhone 17 lineup, new Apple Watch models, and the awaited AirPods Pro 3.
The event is set for 9 September 2025 at 10.30 PM IST. Viewers can watch live through Apple.com, the Apple TV app, or Apple’s official YouTube channel, offering global audiences front-row access to Apple’s latest innovations and products.
The iPhone 17 is anticipated to come with a 6.3-inch screen supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, alongside a 24-megapixel front camera. Expected colour options include purple and green, with pricing likely starting near $800 in the mid-premium range.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max may come with a slightly bulkier body to fit a bigger battery, offering longer usage between charges. Pricing is likely to start at approximately $1,250.
Taking the place of the Plus model, the iPhone Air is also expected to be Apple’s slimmest phone at just 5.5mm. It may feature a 6.6-inch display, a single rear camera, no bottom-firing speaker, and an optional battery case, priced around $899–$950.
Apple may introduce a new range of “TechWoven” cases for the iPhone 17 Pro series. Designed to be more durable than the previous FineWoven cases, these could feature detachable crossbody straps, reflecting Apple’s move toward stylish yet functional premium accessories.
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to come with faster charging, 5G support, satellite connectivity, and a larger display. Meanwhile, the Series 11 may receive minor upgrades, and the more affordable SE 3 could get a bigger screen, with prices around $250, $400, and $800.
The AirPods Pro 3 are likely to be smaller and sleeker, with a compact charging case and touch controls instead of buttons. With the new H3 chip, they should deliver better noise cancellation and smarter audio for a richer listening experience.
