India will host the AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in central Delhi from February 16 to 20, placing the country at the forefront of global discussions on artificial intelligence (AI) governance and policy direction.
The summit has received more than 35,000 registrations from across the world, indicating strong international interest in India’s growing role in shaping artificial intelligence outcomes across economies and sectors.
Leading technology executives including Google Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sundar Pichai, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and other industry heads are expected to attend the global summit.
Meanwhile, confirmed participants include Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Infosys Chairman Nandan Nilekani.
Although Sam Altman is not listed on the public speaker roster, reports indicate OpenAI is organising closed-door meetings on the sidelines of the summit for select stakeholders and industry leaders.
On the other hand, Global political participation will include French President Emmanuel Macron, Brazil President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and United Kingdom Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy, reflecting high-level international engagement at the summit.
Simultaneously, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the AI Impact Summit on February 19 and is expected to chair a Chief Executive Officers roundtable later the same day.
The India-led AI Impact Summit will be the fourth in the global series, following meetings at Bletchley Park, Seoul and Paris, reinforcing India’s role in advancing the AI for Humanity agenda.
