A movie that inspires you…
MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. I can relate to the challenges he faced since I was born, brought up and schooled in a small village in Haryana. It was extremely challenging for me, as a small-town person, to negotiate various hurdles to get where I am today.

...and a song?
‘Bade DilWala’ sung by my favorite artist Kishore KumarThe essence of it is that life is too short to worry about the future. I try to live that way myself.

When anxiety sets in?
Deciding what is right and wrong can be stressful.  I deal with such times by sticking to good habits, of eating the right food, sleeping on time and waking up early. Routine helps me.

Other ways to de-stress?
I walk every morning for an hour, play tennis occasionally and go for a week-long hiking trip every year. All of these help clear my head and reorient myself.

An anecdote or lesson you’d like to share?
On my morning walks, I meet many elderly people. One piece of advice all of them give me is not to be overly materialistic. Coffins don’t have pockets!

Any quote or saying that inspires you?
‘Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime’. Also, ‘Only the paranoid survive’ by Andy Grove.
