Chennai-based start-up Zoho has reported a net profit of Rs 2,749 crore in the financial year (FY) 2022. The company was also profitable in the previous financial year. In FY2021, the company registered a profit of Rs 1,917 crore. It registered a 43 per cent jump in this financial year.
The operating revenue jumped to Rs 6,711 crore in FY22 from Rs 5,230 crore, witnessing a 28.6 per cent surge, its filing with the Registrars of Companies (RoC) revealed. The total revenue surged to Rs 6998.8 crore from Rs 5,444.6 crore, reported 28.5 per cent surge.
Like FY2021, North America was accountable for the highest revenue generation. It generated Rs 2,458.8 crore in revenue in FY21, while in FY22, it generated Rs 3,198.4 crore. Europe earned Rs 1,504.6 crore and Asia was accountable for Rs 883.8 crore in revenue. Latin America, Africa and Australia were responsible for Rs 371.8 crore, Rs 501.9 crore and Rs 250 crore.

The income of Zoho’s business application Zoho Business increased by 62 per cent to Rs 3,533 crore in FY22 compared to Rs 2,181 crore in FY21. It earned Rs 3,534.1 crore from the cash flow of its business activities in FY22 compared to Rs 2,457.8 crore in FY21.
Along with its revenue and profit, the company also reported a surge in its net expense. In FY22, its net expenditure surged to Rs 3571.7 crore compared to Rs 3026.3 crore in FY21.
