Nearly thousands of customers faced difficulties joining in calls or sending text messages on Microsoft’s ‘Teams’ application as the video conferencing platform was down for several hours in India. 

A report from the outage tracking website Downdetector.com revealed that around 1,800 users faced hardships and reported issues while logging in to the conferencing application. 

Microsoft said that the company is investigating issues. It added it identified a potential networking issue and is reviewing telemetry to determine the next troubleshooting steps.

Users took the issue to Twitter and shared their experiences. A user wrote that he is unable to join in the calls and send text messages. He also asked what exactly happened with the application. He also wrote that the company updated that there is a glitch and it is working to fix the issue.

Another user wrote that along with teams, some other Microsoft applications like Exchange Online and SharePoint are also down.
