Indian edtech start-up Scaler has acquired the Delhi-based education platform Pepcoding for an undisclosed amount to scale its business ecosystem.
According to a statement, the acquisition will help Scaler to accelerate its growth and support across various business units, including strategy, product design, B2B enterprise, and operations. Additionally, the company is also aiming to bring synergies between the companies to strengthen its offering in the tech education space.
As a part of this acquisition, Sumeet Malik, the co-founder of Pepcoding has joined Scaler as a content creator to improve the learner experience. Other Pepcoding employees have joined Scaler as full-time employees working across diverse teams. The team is expected to play a pivotal role in terms of developing the Scaler School of Technology.
