Sorted, an Indian omni-channel platform for fruits and vegetables, has announced the launch of Saarthi, a bouquet of B2B services in the fruits and vegetables sector.

Saarthi aims to help mom-and-pop shops to grow their income from fruits and vegetable businesses by up to 5x by better sourcing, helping reduce wastage and increasing their sales footprint.

The company has claimed that the key service propositions of the bouquet, which include sourcing, technology, and demand generation, are aimed at helping mom-and-pop shops plug the existing inefficiencies in their fruits and vegetables offerings. Its dourcing-as-a-service eyes to provide fruits and vegetable sellers with a 100 per cent assortment of the desired grade and quality direct-from-farm, at competitive Mandi rates.

Under the technology-as-a-Service segment, Saarthi equips partner shops with cutting-edge tools such as Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, advanced forecasting capabilities, price benchmarking and data analytics.

In the third offering, demand-as-a-Service, Saarthi focuses on creating demand for mom-and-pop shops through innovative marketing strategies. By working closely with our team, retailers will benefit from targeted advertising campaigns, promotions, and other initiatives to attract customers and drive sales.

The start-up has also raised $5 Million in its ongoing seed funding round.

“We have piloted the different offerings under Saarthi with over 25 mom-and-pop shops across multiple demographics - and the outcomes are beyond our expectations. All the stores have consistently shown a growth of at least 2x in their F&V bottom line - helping them achieve overall profitability at store level.”, said Anant Goel, the founder and CEO of Sorted and chief architect of Saarthi.
