Thermax's MD and CEO on why he follows actor Aamir Khan's movies

RA Chandroo

I used to be addicted to management books but read a lot more of history, psychology and philosophy now. Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now holds a lot of meaning for me and inspires me to take life on a day-by-day basis.

Though it is not easy for me to devote three to four hours for movies, I like following actor Aamir Khan’s work — he does some really odd movies that often have an enduring meaning or message.

I spent the first eighteen years of my life in Kerala and love the food I grew up on, especially the non-vegetarian dishes. I make it a point to try it out whenever I get a chance. I also love the Italian style of cooking.

I love traveling, especially within the country — there is a lot to see here. I also love exploring Europe and have driven across rural areas and villages in Italy alone.

I used to be a whisky drinker and enjoyed my occasional solitary peg of single malt. But I have now moved on to red wine, which I feel has a lot more variety to offer in terms of taste and experience.
