My Favourite

Wabco India's managing director on how he's been trying to develop an interest in Economics and much more

I love drinking tender coconut water. It is very refreshing, natural and so much better than aerated beverages any day.

Though I do not watch movies very often, in the recent times, one Hindi movie that i really enjoyed is 3 Idiots by Rajkumar Hirani. It shows how one should not run after superficial things in life and listen to one’s inner voice.

Since I have been trying to develop an interest in the subject of Economics, I really liked the book Fault Lines by Raghuram Rajan. It is well written with a straightforward, simple and lucid style.

As far as food is concerned, I am a complete Tamilian. Nothing makes me more happy than eating dosa since this is something I have been used to since my childhood.

Every now and then, I like visiting my village, Mamsapuram, near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. Not only does it always bring back childhood memories, but it’s also very relaxing to be in that rural setting — it relieves me of all stress.

I always feel energised when I watch a game of basketball or even when I play it myself. I was part of my college’s basketball team.
