A movie that inspires you…
The Bridge on the River Kwai. It is on taking pride in your work and being graceful even under extreme stress. That said, my all time favourite is Star Wars, the original trilogybecause it reinforces the triumph of good over the bad.

...and a song?
When I truly want to relax, I listen to Enya. Besides that, I like listening to old Hindi songs, especially those by Hemant Kumar. One song that always lifts me up is I have a dream by ABBA.

When anxiety sets in?
I watch a fun movie or hang out with my kids. Sometimes, it’s movies like Golmaal with its slapstick comedy, or something completely different and fantastical like Iron Man. I also reread Isaac Asimov’s books again and again.

Other ways to de-stress?
I don’t stress over things easily. There is work that needs to be done. I follow a motto: Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana, Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurma Tey Sangostva Akarmani. It means (roughly) you do your work with full commitment, integrity and to the best of your ability, and then let it be.

Lowest point in your life? How did you deal with it?
There is no one such moment. There have been times when things did not go as planned, but you tell yourself that ‘this too shall pass’ and it does. I immediately begin to work on the solution. It has always been about finding the strength within and then reaching out to your dearest and trusted people, this includes my amazing set of mentors.

Any quote or saying that inspires you?
The Serenity Prayer that goes, “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.” Then, this wise quote by Yoda: "Do or do not do, there is no trying".
