My favorite book is The Kite Runner. The book gives an accurate description of how proxy wars affect innocent civilians more than they affect governments and armies. Khaled Hosseini’s narration of the story is exceptional.

The Pursuit of Happyness is my favorite movie. I think Will Smith did an excellent portrayal of Christopher Gardner. Gardner’s life story is nothing short of inspirational. The movie is one of the best I have seen in recent times.

I am an ardent Kabaddi fan. The sport requires a high level of concentration, physical prowess, strategising and analysing the opponent. For me, it is a matter of pride that a contact sport with roots in India is getting global visibility with tournaments like Pro Kabaddi League.

I am not into leisure travelling. In the little I do, I relish the travel time more than the destination. The best part of my last vacation to Coorg was the travel, where we were all disconnected from our mobile phones and laptops and spent quality time together.

As my business travel is extensive, I like to experiment with local cuisines. That said, I relish Thai cuisine. I stayed at the Bangalore Oberoi during my 2001 interview with SAP and since have been hooked on to the green curry and rice at the Rim Naam.
