I drink lemonade to beat the heat of the day and enjoy the serenity of nightfall with a glass of red wine.

I’ve never seen a movie like the Oscar winning Life is Beautiful, which isa balance of hysterical comedy and serious drama. Roberto Benigni has handled both — comedy and drama —beautifully. It’s a great film with love, optimism, courage and inner strength. This movie is a masterpiece that reignites family values and is magnificent in every way.

The Godfather by Mario Puzo, is undoubtedly the best book written. If you ignore the fact that it dwells on organised crime, then it is actually a guide to doing business through its insights into human nature and by driving home the importance of adapting to different situations.

John Dory’s fish preparation at Riyaaz Amlani’s Salt Water Grill in Bandra, is something I particularly enjoy. Sikandari Raan at the ITC Grand Maratha is also a favourite.

Give me a beach and you’ve got me. W Retreat & Spa in the Maldives is amazing. The coral reefs are magnificent and I love to snorkel. With the kids, I usually descend upon Koh Samui, Thailand, which is absolutely relaxing and provides a great range of activities for all. For a quick getaway, the Hilton Shillim Estate Retreat & Spa in Lonavala is just perfect.

Karate has been my fitness mantra as it helps me focus. I have to thank my coach and fitness instructor Jagdish Chawda, for training me for the past 20 years.
